Lived in Johnstone Renfrewshire since Birth
Malky was married to Lorraine Kerr from Elderslie.
They only had one child , A son named Ian .
As years passed Malky & Lorraine divorced .
He moved back with our Parents.
He never did re marry & he devoted himself to our parents.
The late Thomas & Janet Anderson.
Malky was also.
Brother to the late Maryhelen Young (nee Anderson ) Aged 43.
Brother to the late Thomas Anderson Jr Aged 49.
Younger brother of Christina , Andrew, Janette & George .
A special uncle to his neices & nephews .
And a special friend to the many people who knew him.
His son had moved to Canada as a child with his mum.
We keep in touch with him & we have some news for Malky .
He,s going to be a grandad & i know for sure .That malky will look out
over them & He,ll be their ( Guardian Angel ).
Malky passed away with a number of illnesses but mainly his heart .
He had been unable to work for years due to ill health .
Though for many yrs he & our mother took care of each other .
Malky was my my wee brother .
And also my best Friend .
We did love each other .
Right til the very end.
Now he,s up above me .
An angel in the sky .
I know he will look after me .
Until the day i Die.

rocks on distant hills shudder,
lions hunker down
in tall grasses,

lumber after safety.

in forests,
small things recoil into silence,
their senses
eroded beyond fear.

The snow arrived unannounced.
It overwhelmed everything.
Changed the landscape so it was unrecognisable.
No one was prepared.
My grief feels like that snowstorm.
I feel changed, weighed down by the burden.
Trying to negotiate the new environment around me.
Not knowing where I am going.
Looking for familiar landmarks.
I feel cold and miserable and ill equipped in this new place unvisited before.
But I know in time the snow will melt and return the landscape to some semblance of normality.
And I know in time my grief will diminish and I will find my way forward again, back to a world that I recognise, changed, but familiar.
Spring does always come after winter and hope will return.
